Digital Millennium Copyright Act — Notice & Takedown Procedure

Before You Submit

Before filing a notice, please confirm that you are the copyright owner (or authorized to act on their behalf) and that the material in question is not covered by fair use, such as commentary, criticism, or transformative editing resources. Knowingly submitting a false claim may expose you to liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

Our Goal

Our goal is to give video editors easy access to the resources they need to learn and create, while respecting the rights of copyright holders. We take every valid takedown request seriously and aim to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Our Position

We explicitly do not condone piracy. VRX is designed to facilitate creative editing by providing access to tools that are essential for learning and producing content. We do not host any files directly — all downloads link to third-party file hosting services. We act as a directory and community hub, not a file host.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you still wish to proceed, you must provide the following information in writing:

  1. Your full legal name and contact information (email address).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed.
  3. The specific URL(s) on our site where the infringing material is located.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Where to Send Notices

Send your DMCA takedown notice to contact@scenepacks.gg. Include all required information listed above.

Response Timeline

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the specified content within 24–48 hours. We will notify the uploader (if applicable) about the takedown.

Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice by emailing contact@scenepacks.gg. A counter-notice must include your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court.

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

Disclaimer

VRX does not host files. All download links point to third-party file hosting services. We are a directory and community resource hub. If you have concerns about specific content, email contact@scenepacks.gg and we will investigate promptly.
